Job Description
Represent the HR Global Learning & Performance (GL&P) organization at Seagate s Pune, India site.- Partner with other members of the HR team and key stakeholders from the business to deploy global learning programs that align with broader talent management goals.
- Develop training content and support materials for training developed in-house and manager vendor relationships for sourced content.
- Manage the communications and logistics related to the marketing, delivery and follow-up of training programs and courses
- Ensure programs meet objectives and are evaluated to understand how learning impacts performance.
- Facilitate training programs for leaders and professionals in both face-to-face and virtual classroom environments.
- Promote digital learning solutions and take lead in global or regional roles for learning metrics.
Education/Experience
- Progressive experience in a training or organizational development capacity, preferably with large multi-national corporations in the technology sector.
- Must have prior experience managing training/leadership development programs.
- Must have prior experience creating customized training content as well as facilitating training for a wide variety of learners in an engaging, meaningful way.
- Bachelor s degree in organizational development, human resources, business or related discipline required. Masters degree preferred.
- Track record of success in managing complex global learning projects in a multinational corporation.
- Experience working in teams in a matrixed, virtual and multicultural environment.
Skills and Abilities
- In-depth understanding of adult learning theory, as well as of the key models and tools for management and leadership development.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with internal customers, understand their requirements and translate them into global products.
- Formal training and at least 3 years experience in instructional design developing programs accommodating a variety of learning styles, cultural preferences, time and attention constraints.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with internal customer, HR colleagues and GL&P team members in a matrixed, global work environment.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver a high quality work product on a timely basis.
- Possesses a superior customer focus and consulting mindset.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills; facilitation certifications (SLII, presentation skills, etc.) desired.
- Strong process and project management skills.
- Superior PC skills with excellence in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proven business acumen and ability to innovate new ways of developing and delivering solutions.
Masters degree with equivalent extensive experience
