Skill:- SERVER-ADMINISTRATION
Experience:- 4 to 5 Years
Location - Bangalore
Notice Period:- 0 to 15 days
Candidate should be ready to work in 24*7 shifts ( including night)
Responsibilities and Duties
Virtual Guest & Physical Server Operating Systems
a) Configuration, Implementation and Maintenance of Active Directory and its components
b) Physical & Virtual Server Administration including tuning and troubleshooting
c) Provision & de-provision servers to standard builds using config management tools like Chef/Puppet etc.
d) Monitor the server infrastructure environments health status, service performance, and utilization.
e) Design, Create and Maintain infrastructure automation, leveraging infrastructure automation tools, like Puppet, Spacewalk, Ivanti
Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Physical Servers
a) Maintain Nutanix server environment via configuration, implementation, management and support activities and build/maintain Virtual Clusters and Guest Master Templates.
b) Nutanix Administration including performance monitoring, alert management, Health check
c) Conduct capacity planning and load management like using Nutanix Native tools.
VDI/Virtual Apps
a) Citrix XenApp Administration
b) Maintain both the test/development and production environments for the XenApp/SSL VPN environment.
c) Resolve backend technical issues on the server farm that hosts the Citrix
Load Balancer
a) Maintain the Citrix Netscaler environment (Physical/Virtual)
b) Maintain both the test/development and production/DMZ environments and Maintain sync between Primary and DR site
c) Resolve backend technical issues on the Physical Devices
d) Work with WC engineering team in developing and deploying updates/changes to configuration and ensure that application owners perform testing on the environment before releasing to production.
e) Collaborate with project leads to load required Functions/configurations
f) Standard capabilities of maintaining proxy, ssl, end-point termination, compression, load -balancing, high-availability, URL re-write, conditional URL re-write, tcp optimization, cache redirect, Global Server load balancing
General Responsibilities:
a) a) Security Compliance, Patch Management, Major Incident Resolution, DR and BCP, Change management, reporting.
Qualifications:
a) 3-5 years of Experience in Wintel & Linux OS Server Administration
b) Citrix &VMware administration
c) Nutanix
d) Certification a plus
