Job Description
A Grocery Stocker manages all aspects of the grocery departments stock levels including taking inventory, replenishing products as needed, receiving incoming inventory and ensuring products are appropriately positioned. This job may also require some level of customer service, particularly if the Grocery Stocker is working during store hours.
Grocery Stockers typically work in grocery stores or in the grocery department of department stores. They may work unconventional hours at stores that are open all night or stocking inventory overnight while the store is closed.
