Job Description
Position: Network Security EngineerCompany: ExterNetworks
Work days: Monday to Friday
Working time: Night
Positions: Multiple.
Address: Madhapur, Hyderabad
Functional Requirements:
Installing, supporting, Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure (Server and Network) and responding to the requests and issues by implementing strategic solutions in time.
Overseeing and determining time-frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
Requirements:
Relevant work experience: 8 to 10 Years
Education level: Bachelor in Engineering or higher
ITIL Foundation Certified [Preferred]
Technical Requirements:
Perform Server Installations and configuration.
Experience in OS Platforms - Windows Server, ESXi, Windows Clien and administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix and VMware technologies.
Working knowledge of Virtualization VMware vSphere, vCenter, HA, DRS, Hyper View and MS Hyper-V.
Experience in managing Roles Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Web, FTP, Group Policy, WSUS and SCCM.
Working knowledge of Storage administration involving with SAN and NAS
Excellent understanding of network, routers, switches. Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.
Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems
Design and perform timely Backup using multiple solutions available in market.
Endpoint Security management, Web Security and Vulnerability Management.
Performs troubleshooting as required for Server and Network infrastructure and lead problem-solving process involving outside vendors.
Patch management - Plan and implement software roll-outs and OS deployments/upgrades.
Hands-on knowledge on ticketing tools and monitoring tools like SolarWinds and ServiceNow.
Working knowledge of Remote Support tools.
Works with vendors to assist support activities.
Develops new system and application implementation and provide hands-on training for technical staff on how to use new software and hardware.
Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
Develops procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
Documentation - MS-Office, MS-Visio and graphic design applications.
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
