Export Manager/Export Head
Job Description:-
a) Overall in charge for ensuring smooth functioning of work within the Department and with other Departments of the organization.
b) Ensure compliances with customs related requirements, rules and procedures.
c) Smooth and timely execution of projects/assignments as and when assigned by the management.
d) Ensuring customer satisfaction and retention and implementing new ideas and initiative to increase customer satisfaction and build customer relationship.
e) Understanding training needs and developing skills and capabilities of team members through on the job training, external training and job rotation.
f) Follow-up and control of client outstanding.
g) Development of new and existing customers.
h) Controlling costs and implementing cost reduction measures wherever possible.
i) Ensuring HSE compliance within the Department.
j) Evaluation and appraisal of Team members.
k) Identifying resource requirements of the Department and communicating to the concerned department for implementation.
l) Conduct periodical Departmental meetings to understand issues and requirements and take suitable corrective action.
m) Provide quotations for new enquiries and projects.
The Successful Applicant Should Be:-
- Graduate/PG Degree
- Strategic thinking & planning
- Deep knowledge of Export operations (Customs Clearance) and market information in Export industry
- Strong negotiation skills and have solid experience in dealing with exporters, transporters, Customs house staff members
- Demonstrated critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks, and identifying alternative solutions or approaches
- Experience at management level and proven track record of people & product P&L management
