Job Description
- This Job is not suitable for candidates who have an implementation background only that dont have a strength for customer interaction
- This job is for those that can create customer presentations and artifacts with no templates and use structured thinking and analysis
- This would suit those who have a passion for excellence, constantly pushing for better quality improvement and an obsessive passion to deliver the best quality outcome for the customer
- This is a role for a those with a strong team player aspect and a self-less role where the customer comes first, the team second and themselves afterward

- You will act as the right-hand and trusted advisory of the CTO in terms of cloud expertise and how to take IT to the next level and accelerate digital transformation across multiple countries in APAC in very different cultures, empathy and communication is a must
Consulting skills

- Strong understanding of business drivers and how impact of a service engagement drives the business
- C-level non tech jargon communication. Ability to describe risks in laymans terms ability to communicate using analogies and metaphors
- Strategic thinking, understanding the impact of the immediate discussions and ability to understand the strategic nature of the engagement to the business and to SoftwareONE
- Not a sales person but a true consultant, understand how to say they dont know while maintaining their integrity and respect of the customer

Strong Operational IT Service Management understanding
- Strong service operations best practices and a typical environment
- ITIL processes
- Preferred ITIL v4 certified
- Understanding of Operations in Infra, OS, Application, DB Storage, Backup and DR, Network, Security
Knowledge of Process improvement and Lean Six Sigma
- Good working knowledge of process improvement
- Yellow belt six sigma or above preferred
Technology:
Solutions Architecture Skills
- Ability to drive discovery workshops mapping current state and working consultatively for the best solution in context to the organizations technology investments, processes and desired future state of the business versus using the latest technology blindly or using off the shelf reference architecture
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF principles
- Full stack development understanding -.NET stack, Node.js stack and software engineering principals
- Understanding of how-to solution an application to stateless, serverless in cloud
- Understand the right scale of change management or re-architecture for a business not just creating the best architecture without understanding the ability for a customer to cope with those changes
- Azure Platform including, serverless, differences between service fabric and AKS, how best to do key integration, HSM technologies etc
- Multi-Cloud Architecture in Application Modernization
- How modernize traditional datawarehouse
- Master Data Management and Data Governance Basics
- Cloud Governance and Cloud Build best practices
- CMP knowledge and solutions
- Ability to explain the principle of a cloud service and its intended developed use and when and when NOT to use the service and under what conditions, when third party equivalent tools are more appropriate
- Strong middle ware technology and integration stacks ESB, API platforms, API Security etc.
- OS Management and expertise in large scale both in Linux and Windows and associated tooling/scripting
Strong experience in Advisory, Migration and Modernization
- Strong experience in large scale migrations where you have acted as the lead technical resource on the project and managing others to deliver the project
- Driven multiple migration workshops, dependency mapping, application grouping,
- Ability to create the workshop content from scratch
- Ability to create the application modernization methodology and content as part of a migration
- Able to create a 100 to 200-page PDF Advisory and Migration Planning report, customized with a true Executive Summary fit for the Board
- Ability to assess multiple database types for re-architecture including, Posgres, Sybase, MySQL, MS SQL, NoSQL, DB2, Oracle, Cassandra and MongoDB
Application Modernization and DevSecOps Domain Knowledge
- Able to create the framework for .NET and Node.js and convert that into serverless architectures

- DAST and SAST technology integration
- Unit and Functional testing platforms
- Strong experience in Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, Terraform

Coming from a strong experience in large migrations (does not have to be Azure)
- Conducting Cloud Migration workshops
- Facilitate cloud migration preparations
- Conduct Assessments and Report Creation
- Coordinating cloud migration (application owners, vendor support, customer infrastructure support, etc)
- Knowledge of the following or equivalent in other clouds Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery, Cloud Endure, Database Migration
- Conduct cutovers
- Facilitate testing
- Facilitate handover
- Facilitate rollbacks/rescheduling if required
- Migration Status reporting
- Document deliverables
