Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of direct sourcing and will be handling Strategic Sourcing, PR-PO, Expedition, MIS, Spend Management, Vendor Management, Commodity Management etc.
Your role will require handling a team of buyers / expeditors and perform individual contributor role in following areas: Supplier negotiations, Supplier OTD, Costing, Avoid Cost Leakages, and Supplier Management etc.
We will prefer people with some analytical skills who are able to understand the process and follow the same rigorously.
- Manage a team of buyers and expeditors and run a smooth operation.
- Responsible for team outcome (productivity / KPI / SLA)
- Act as subject matter expert and resolve / support team in achieving the business objectives.
- Own supplier relationship and governance to drive better supplier behavior and performance.
- Resolve process issues by co-ordination internally (with stake holders) and externally with supplier / logistics provider etc.
- Perform complex PO creation / supplier follow up
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/B.E. Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics
- Should have 6+ Years of Experience in sourcing and procurement
- Detailed knowledge of Steps involved into Supply Chain Management and Sourcing Function.
- Well versed with Supplier Negotiation and management
- Team Management experience and skills
- Must be good in Analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and oral English skills
