Network Data
10+ Years
- Manages, designs, delivers and deploys aspects of network architecture, design, and engineering and detail network specifications in order to migrate client from current network environment to the new environment. May include vendor management, client relations, resource planning and management, project management and quality assurance, new equipment installation and configuration. Overall responsible for maintaining the entire network as per agreed performance specification.
Key Competencies and Skills :
These positions are tilted heavily towards LAN support & implementation.
LAN is mixed of Cisco, Nexus & some Juniper
We are specifically looking for expertise in switching Cisco(6500) & nexus with working knowledge on BGP,MPLS
Mandatory Skills :
LAN technologies like STP, HSRP, VLAN management etc on Cisco, Nexus, Juniper,. LAN skills are very critical for this position. Hands on experience in Audit like PCI, bitsite and Network.
Very good knowledge on Packet shapers/Allot.
Give L2, L3, L4 support for troubleshooting daily issues
Very good knowledge on Wireless technologies
Should be able to perform changes on network.
Good exposure to WAN skills like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP etc
Must have design experience
Roles and Responsibilities :
Develops plans and/or designs Network requirements and standards.
May manage installation. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into functional specifications and Vendor selection. Provides technical support to Transport, ITA, External Vendors, Supplier Management etc.
Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Monitors the performance of the overall network and its elements, responds to and fixes troubles, and performs preventative and routine maintenance activities. Recommends systems improvements to overall network to maintenance impacts.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
Network Data
- Minimum 2-5 years of Network Operations experience or specialization in: Network Management
- Sound knowledge of LAN &WAN. Cisco routers devices like switches, router etc...
- knowledge of other brand of routers/Switches like juniper, Brocade
- Strong in OSI Reference Model, L2/L3 switching, VLAN, Ether channel, VTP, Basic routing, Password recovery, STP, PoE, Loop creation and breaking concepts, ROMMON recovery.
- Configuration and Management of Cisco routers, switches, Wi-Fi.
- Understanding of IP sub-netting/super netting.
- Knowledge of WAN technology like MPLS, Internet, NLD, Metro Ethernet link etc.
- Should be comfortable with IP based Routing Protocols like BGP, OSPF and RIP EIGRP, static routing, mpls.
- Knowledge of switching protocols like trunking, VTP, STP, RSTP, MST, Ether channel..etc
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite (both IPv4/IPv6).
- Knowledge of Fiber and copper cabling and standards.
- Perform diagnostics and resolve networking related problems.
- Basic Knowledge of WAN optimization tools like Packet shaper, Allot..Etc.
- Certifications like CCNA, CCNP are desirable.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
- Educational qualifications - diploma / graduate in Electronics / computer Engineering / BSC in IT / Electronics / Physics / Computers.
Network Security
Job Description:
Minimum 6 - 10 years experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, trouble shooting, debugging and administering some of the following Cisco LAN and Wireless products, devices, and technologies for small, medium, large and/or enterprise businesses such as the following
- Hands on experience on Higher end CISCO switches (Nexus7K, 5K, 2K, Cisco 6500, 4500, 3750 and 2900 Series) and Routers (7200, 3800 and 2800 Series) and ASA 5500, Checkpoint and PaloAlto.
. CCIE security & Routing and Switching certification preferred.
- Should be able to handle complex issues.
- Experience of managing large scale network infrastructure and Data Centers.
- In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, and QOS.
- In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols including static, dynamic (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP) and PBR.
- Good understanding of MPLS and IPSEC VPN.
- Good understanding of Incident and Change Management procedures.
- Hands on experience on Higher end CISCO/Checkpoint Firewalls.
- Should be able to handle complex issues.
- Experience of managing large scale security network infrastructure and Data Centers kind of network.
- In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls, like ACL, Remote Access VPN, IPSEC VPN, NAT, PAT, Clustering, End point security assessment.
- Good knowledge of routing protocols including static, dynamic (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP) and PBR.
- Good understanding of MPLS technology.
- Audit Front ending.
- Customer Visit Support for project team / ITFO Monthly network MIS reporting for region Wireless Setup and management.
- Monthly Asset inventory verification & Report Periodic Updation of Customer Project Site book & diagrams to physical deployment Hardware replacement & RMA Process for Core devices DR/BCP Testing for that Building as per Calendar Site Documentation Updation.
- CSAT Maintenance DR/BCP Testing for Critical Business Projects Should be able to work 24x7 environment.
- Good communication skills and team coordination.
