Job Description

UK Shift - 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
4-6 Years of total IT experience in PHP or Drupal
Minimum 4 years of programming experience on ruby on rails
Experience in web development using the Ruby on Rails web application framework
Thorough understanding of the philosophy and design of Ruby on Rails
Desktop publishing skills: HTML, xHTML, CSS
Good knowledge of JavaScript
Responsibilities
Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
Design robust, scalable and secure features
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, code standards)
Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
Knowledge of:
JavaScript and JavaScript libraries.
Relational databases: Postgres, MySQL etc.
Ability to work with the Amazon EC2, S3, Heroku, and EBS services, Git, SVN
