Job Description
- Work Experience:3 - 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Location Bangalore
- Position 3
Key Responsibilities:
- Tests software releases during the product development and System testing.
- Test Automation preferably in scripting language Shell/Perl/Python on UNIX
- Reports test results and enter problems and issues into the bug database. Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
- Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
- Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments.
- Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures.
- Writes UAT for release and interact with customer to get it passed.
- Manages the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers / Tech lead.
- Assists in the automation of relevant test procedures.
- Assists in review of test processes as they are developed.
- Provide input on the time requirement to deliver the assignment
- Develop and test a deliverable thoroughly.
Required Candidate profile
Desired Profile:
Educational Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech. , M.E. /M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA. Advance degree preferred.
Skill Sets:
Domain Expertise:
- Knowledge ofBig Data technologies like Hadoop / PIG / Spark
- Knowledge on BI tools like Tableau, etc.
- Knowledge of PCRF, ITU-T/ANSI SS7, GSM, IS-41, ETSI, 3GPP standards is preferred.
- Technical know-how on SCCP, TCAP, MAP, ISUP, INAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN, Diameter, LTE protocol stacks will be a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Scripting languages like Perl / Python
- SQL / PGSQL /Oracle 8i/9i
Testing Skills:
- Experience in test automation using shell/Perl/Python scripting on UNIX
- Experience in Big Data technology and should have good analytical skills
- Knowledge of various test methods
- Must have done test automation for Telecom products
- Hands on experience on Telecom specific automated test tools like K1297 or NetHawk EAST will be an added advantage.
