The Developer will be a key member of our delivery team working closely with developers, customers and stakeholders. This position will be initially based in Ahmedabad, India. The developer will be regarded as the technical expert on all development related tasks. This includes business understanding and documentation, data flow and data architecture, development, unit testing and deployment. The ideal candidate would have 3 5 years of development experience across various technologies including but not limited to .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, MVC, JQuery, JSON, MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014, SSRS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, Version Control.

• Deep understanding of core Microsoft technologies and frameworks like .NET, MVC, C#, ASP.NET, LINQ, WCF, Web Services, SSIS, SSRS
• Fundamental understanding of distributed n-tier desktop and web applications, web services, testing and agile development
• Create technical specifications and code based on the specifications.
• Ability to unit test code before submitting to the internal QA team for testing.
• Possess the ability to work independently on multiple projects and tasks
• Must have good knowledge of SDLC, coding best practices, strong analysis skills, and communication skills.
• Must have the ability to multi task and work independently on given tasks with minimal guidance
• Ability to work with junior team members to guide them on technical tasks
• Responsible for project delivery and technical quality of projects

Skills/Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of C# and ASP.NET programming for developing enterprise class applications built in a multi tier environment.
• In-depth knowledge of various SDLC methodologies, design patterns and coding techniques
• Innovative and out-of-the box thinker who can come up with pragmatic solutions to difficult problems
• Strong T-SQL and/or PL-SQL knowledge (queries, stored procedures, triggers)
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering one or more projects and working as leader of the team
• Nice to have: Knowledge in Hedge Funds, Security Master, Trading Data, Accounting Data, Currencies and P&L Data is a plus.

Education/Certification

• BE in Computer Engineering/Science or MCA from reputed universities/colleges or equivalent
• Consistent above average academic performance
