Lead Software Engineer - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Acko

As a UI Lead Engineer, you will be responsible to build intuitive user experience for making insurance purchase and claim journey easier for customers, operations and business teams. The core responsibilities include Lead by example, mentor and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving, architecting large system to development of best practices. You will be working in a fast paced and agile work environment delivering quality and scalable solutions that have immediate business impact. You are required to code and build innovative experience which can work on various form factors.

You (Must Haves)-

• You must know the ins and out of Javascript to design optimized and modular components which need to be used across our platform.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in building webapps at scale
• You must have strong understanding of semantic HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3.
• You must have a good understanding of MVC architecture.
• Prior work experience in ReactJS is Must
• You must have experience in setting up the full UI workflow layer right from Development, Testing, Building and Deployment.
• Never give up attitude

You (Good to have)-

• Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS is desirable.
• You should have exposure to page speed improvement techniques.
• Exposure of building responsive websites at scale will be a plus.
• Prior exposure to building React Native components for Hybrid mobile apps will be a plus
• Prior work experience in Angular, Backbone along with ReactJs is desirable.
• Good understanding of webpack and redux
• Prior experience in building products that are SEO compatible is good to have
• Understanding of how PWA works, Service Side rendering, React Native and Hybrid apps is desirable.
• Understanding of Metrics and Monitoring of web applications
• Understanding of GTM or Amplitude etc for Analytics
• Understanding of CDN and its applications and uses
