Job Description
Job Summary
Business Analyst having in depth knowledge of Underwritings, Risk ratings, Reinsurance,Sales CRM
commission/ payments in Property and causality, Life or Health Insurance domain. Having exposure
to product life cycle management and application migration would be an advantage.
Mandatory experience into Insurance domain.
Major Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst in Underwritings, Risk ratings, Reinsurance, commission/ payments of
Property and causality, Life or Health Insurance domain. Candidate would be expected to perform
following duties:
Should be liaison between Business users and Development and Testing Team.
Should perform Business analysis in Underwriting, Risk rating or Reinsurance or Commissions
& Payments.
Must have done UAT,SIT for product implementation or migration projects.
A person should have mentored junior BAs and lead the teams.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor in Engineering/MCA/M.sc/ M.S./ MBA in Systems, IT or Insurance or Finance.
Domain Certification like AINS,FLMI, CPCU
Experience
Candid should have expertise in Underwriting or Risk Rating or Reinsurance or Commission and
Payments
Should be liaison between Business users and Development and Testing Team.
Should understand Testing methodologies and different level of test.
Must have participated in UAT Testing.
Understanding of SDLC or PDLC for Large scale product implementation.
Person should have worked on implementation of product and legacy
migration/modernization.
Candidate with CPCU, AINS, and FLMI certification would be an advantage.
Experience in Product like Life Asia 400, Duck Creek, Guide wire, Ingenium, Performance
Plus would be an advantage
Technical Skills
Should have Experience in SQL, Test case writings and database basics.
Understanding of Use case modelling and Database.
Functional/Domain Knowledge (If required)
Core Insurance knowledge of Property and causality, Life or Health Insurance.
Expertise in Underwriting or Risk rating or Commissions and Payments modules.
Domain certifications in underwriting or Reinsurance.
