Job Description
We have great opportunity for HOD QA - Lab for very reputed Iron foundry company located in Belgaum Karnataka.
Job Title: Manager HOD QA Lab
Qualification: B.E. Metallurgy / B. Sc
Experience: 10 to 15 yrs.
Job Profile:
Total 10-12 years of experience and currently working as a Laboratory and sand plant Head under Quality Control
Operational Area: Sand plant, Metallurgical lab, Raw Material testing and Sand testing lab.
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Responsible for quality control of incoming raw materials and final out going products quality.
o Monitoring green sand moulding parameters through SPC.
o Responsible for implementation of corrective measures taken during rejections Meetings.
o To provide trainings for knowledge up gradation.
o Responsible for IATF & Other Quality Audits.
o Supplier Quality Audits & Quality Improvements.
o Process Improvement (Defect Analysis) and Costumer grievances regarding Metallurgical defects and sand related defect.
o Reduce rejections related to metallurgy and sand of products and work on continuous up-gradation of process for improved productivity.
o Responsible for functioning of daily LAB and Sand plant activities
o Responsible for managing the Manpower in LAB and Sand control Dept.
Job Profile :
Roles & Responsibilities :
o To ensure on time analysis of Incoming Raw Material, Final Product Testing and generate inspection report.
o Managing all metallurgical testing like (hardness, tensile, microstructure testing).
o Reviews of work instructions and standards in Laboratory.
o Responsible for functioning of daily LAB activities
o Responsible for managing the Manpower in LAB.
Job Profile:
Operational Area: Central Metallurgy Lab under Quality Dept.
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Responsible for Quality Control of Castings, Forgings, Steel & Other Metallic Commodities.
o New Developments of Casting, Forging & Machined Parts.
o Handling of Warranty failures and line failures due to Quality Issues, Correction & Control.
o Supplier Quality Audits & Quality Improvements.
