Role Title
Analyst, Market Analytics - has sound knowledge of data analytics, with BioPharma/Pharma/Life Sciences/Healthcare work experience.
Location - Bangalore
Business Description
This role will be a part of the global Marketing function. Day-to-day work involves owning Analytics programmes, analyzing data, developing reports and dashboards and communicating insights to the business. The role will stretch across the breadth of our BioPharma product portfolio and have both global and region-specific coverage.
Role Description
This individual should have a good foundational knowledge of data analytics and secondary research, expertise in analysis and dashboard creation, acquired preferably from biopharma/biomanufacturing settings. Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare experience would also be relevant. This role requires a combination of technical analytics along with a strong business understanding of the marketing organization. A strong capability in the area of data analytics tools to drive marketing & commercial related business decisions is needed. We are looking for solid communication and presentation skills in this role, particularly to senior stakeholder groups. Experience of leading teams would be pertinent.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Lead & own analytic programmes
- Regular communication with senior business stakeholders
- Expertise in data analysis and secondary research
- Comfortable with big data, creative in presentations, pulling together insights from a variety of sources
- Experience working in a BioPharma / Pharma company (preferred)
- Understanding the BioProcess/BioPharma market would be an added advantage
Experience and Qualification
- Education: Post Graduate degree/ M.Sc., B.Pharma/M.Pharma/Bio-Tech
- Experience: 5+ years of corporate experience working on data analytics preferably focusing on the biopharma/biomanufacturing or Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry (client or agency side)
- Experience of working in a Marketing or a Commercial organisation
Desirable Experience (Technical)
- Expertise in VBA on Excel
- Exposure to data visualization tools incl Qlikview, Spotfire, Power BI and Tableau
- Experience in digital analytics
Role Requirement (Non-Technical)
- Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills to function within a global environment
- Effective presentation and story boarding skills
- Should be able to understand the business context and design user friendly front ends
- Experience in working with senior global stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Strong attitude to create and build new, efficient systems and processes involving data
- Work in a global fast paced rapidly changing environment
- Proactive & flexible solution provider with fast implementation capabilities
- Capability to break problems into manageable pieces and follow an organized approach
- Should believe in team work ability to work with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
