Job Description
Role : Product Sppt Tech Advisor
Experience: 5- 10 years
Location: Bangalore
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and improve our SaaS infrastructure to support rapidly increasing user demand
- Identify issues as they develop and troubleshoot or mitigate before they degrade user experience
- With oversight, build out and configure our development tool chain to support continuous validation of software in compliance with strict regulatory requirements.
- Perform performance tuning, monitoring, patching and other system administration tasks to support fault tolerant, high availability infrastructure.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts to thoroughly automate our operations processes.
- Support our integrations pipeline and troubleshoot issues
Skill Requirements
- Experience with managing systems in production using an infrastructure as code model
- Hands on experience as a systems administrator in maintaining Windows Servers 2012, 2016 or 2019.
- Experience in SQL Server 2012/2014 troubleshooting, Configuration, Backup and Recovery.
- Experience maintaining Internal/External websites on IIS 8 on multi server environment.
- Experience with Active Directory implementation, system builds, performance monitoring tuning, application server high availability, and strong knowledge of disaster recovery.
- Experience liaising with developers and have strong production application implementation support experience.
- Experience with cloud concepts and practice in general, and AWS specifically.
- Knowledge of or experience with Infrastructure as Code generally, and Ansible or Terraform specifically
- Experience in designing and managing IIS/SQL server platform on AWS (EC2, RDS, ALB, Route 53)
- Performs regular system maintenance, backups, software upgrades, OS patches, physical to virtual migrations and performance tuning
- Provide technical support to system infrastructure. Resolve problems and manage incidents at a server/network level.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including VPN, VPC, NAT, Subnet, Bastion Host, DNS, Gateways and Routers.
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Good experience in troubleshooting or configuring Database mirroring, replication and Log shipping
- Hands on experience in analyzing Applications logs, System logs, Security logs by using Event Viewer and analyzing network traces.
