Summary of work environment and work performed

• Responsible for design of products based on the available design rules
• Optimization and continuous improvement of product and process
• Handling customer enquiries
• Technical support to sales force and marketing
• Technical support to the production plant
• Technical support to quality team

Specific Duties

• Perform design, design calculations, simulations based on design guidelines
• Prepare Bill of materials
• Prepare sample and test (evaluation) matrix for new design
• Time planning of projects and estimation of needed resources
• Coordination and follow up of the sample manufacturing and testing
• Preparation of specific test set ups
• Contact with external laboratories or universities for specific tests
• Analysis of results and preparation of comprehensive reports
• Support the production and product launch
• Coordination of customer enquiries
• Performa FMEA and failure analysis report

Knowledge

• Knowledge of TPM , QMS, problem solving tools.
• SPC, Quality Tools, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Calibration
• Aware of six sigma methodologies
• Physics of dielectric
• Shall have knowledge of ISO 45001, OHSAS & HIRA
• Design and simulation software
  

Qualification/ Experience:

• M.E / B.E -- Electrical/Electronic - R&D, Product development
• Experience 12+ years
