Job Description
Dear Candidates,
Urgent opening in Qatar long term post for "Quantity Surveryor" Electrical Instrumentation.
Candidate should be Degree or diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent with minimum of 05 years experience
duties & responsibilities
Preparing weekly progress report & monthly progress report
Prepare the Monthly Invoice for Submit to Clients.
Estimate man hours for work change orders (Additional works)
Obtain budget quotations from material and equipment vendors, evaluation of costs and preparation of requisitions.
Preparing a cost summary for the entire project, this includes the cost of materials, Equipments, labour, taxes, insurance and any other costs affecting the project.
Developing accurate and clear cost estimates based on project data and communicating those estimates with engineers and concerned staff.
Keep a record of unplanned jobs as well as emergency purchase orders to apply for uplift of unit rates.
Prepare support documents for Project Control Department.
Prepares the bill of quantities and costs related to Electrical & Instrumentation works.
Coordinates with planning regarding all related planning quantities
Prepares cost estimates of variation orders related to Electrical & Instrumentation works.
Prepare project information file from the data available from customer
Estimates quantities and cost of works related to Electrical & Instrumentation works for tender documents.
Capable of working on own initiative and as a part of the team, providing full support to the project management pertaining to all commercial aspects including contractual obligations.
Review of contracts /commercial terms / tender qualifications- comparison with the bid documents.
Variations management - Tracking of the scope / preparation of documents in support of variations, submission of change order request.
Coordination with planning, procurement, finance and administration cell for necessary documents required for the submission
Re measurement, calculation of drawing quantities for various ongoing projects.
Verification and certification of sub-contractor bills.
