Job Description
Key Responsibility Areas:
The incumbent will a part of core team responsible to build & scale a new learning business.
This will include but not limited to
- Lead the software design, architecture, development, debugging, documentation, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement efforts
- Translate product requirements and develop technology architecture
- Develop workflow and manage tech development using agile development
- Drive adoption of new technologies like AI/ML in product development to create technological edge
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and Tech budgets in line with business goals
- Establish roadmap and architecture based on the latest proven technologies and our needs.
- Lead & mentor other engineers and demonstrate best engineering practices with the team
- Lead the team to follow software development process including writing unit tests, performing code reviews, doing daily standups, setting OKRs and milestones, etc.
- Drive the project delivery to stakeholders by managing timelines, resourcing, quality assurance etc
- Write and develop codes/ APIs as per need along with robust backend infra
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Attributes
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field from tier I college (IIT/BITS) or strong practical experience
- More than 7 years (3+ years in technical leadership)
- Prior experience in end to end tech platform development for internet businesses
- Demonstrated experience delivering reliable, performing, secure and scalable secure web-based systems and services in production
- Strong experience in system design, scalability, DevOps, security, and testing
- Experience in writing backend code with modern languages & frameworks (JavaScript/node.js or Python/Django)
- Strong relational database experience and API development for mobile/web
- Knowledge of wide range of front end and back end technologies. Knowledge of emerging tech like AI/ML is a plus.
- Proficiency and passion for code quality
- Strong Computer science fundamentals
