Job Description
Role: Project Manager Electrical Transformer Ahmadabad, Noida and DelhiWork Experience: 12+ Years
Salary: Up to 20.0 Lac PA
SUMMARY OF POST:
Successful implementation of turnkey electrical project comprising of EHV Transformers with tendering authorities, government, electricity boards, EPC Companies etc.
Role & Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed project plans; monitor and track project progress to ensure high levels of operational efficiency, quality and cost effective management of resources.
Identify potential risks, constraints and dependencies over the course of the project and develop mitigation mechanisms to manage such issues proactively.
Survey domestic market for emerging trends/ best practices in the area of EHV Transformer/ EHV cables, Conductors and Electrical Substation project management and recommend improvisation.
Prepare periodic MIS on project status and report to Management.
Manage project modification requests from customer and re-estimate project timelines/ budgets.
Regularly coordinate between on-site project team and corporate office for seamless delivery.
Liaise with the local/ tendering authorities/ government and EPC companies for approvals and licenses.
Ensure compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements with respect to project execution.
Work closely with EPC contractors and their team for project delivery; monitor and supervise their work to ensure adherence to delivery standards.
Monitor material supply schedule to ensure timely delivery of project material as per project plan.
Ensure project billing as per the execution schedule.
Advise project team members on functional and technical aspects of the project execution; allocate tasks to individual team members.
Desired EQ/ Skills and Experience:
B.Tech/ BE Electrical Engineering with 15+ year experience in Electrical Engineering Transformer Project, Power Distribution, Electrical Automation controls, Electrical Engineering Project Planning and Execution.
Awareness of operational safety requirements in a manufacturing environment and ability
to apply and follow procedures and requirements as per regulatory bodies.
Electrical Project Management with local/ tendering authorities/ government and EPC companies.
Ability to deal with External Auditors and effectively liaise with local/ tendering authorities/ government and EPC companies to obtain approvals and licenses.
Strong communication/ presentation skills and ability to deal tactfully and efficiently at all levels.
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
Strong desire to grow with entrepreneurial spirit in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture.
