Senior Software Engineer - Mumbai @ AdviserLogic

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design & develop REST based services.
• Develop new data products and warehousing tools using Java/SQL/Hibernate/Spring.
• Implement Enterprise Integration and Java design patterns.
• Participate in technical design and code reviews
• Work on architectural concerns and non-functional requirements.
• Follow agile principles and scrum framework.
• Analyse business user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Communicate with the product/project management and team members about assigned tasks.
• Ensure applications under development meet the defined requirements and pass the user acceptance testing prior to their release.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in analysis, design, coding and implementation using Java/J2EE.
• Should have extensive experience in REST API Development and Testing.
• Should have sound knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Microservices
• Knowledge on AWS Services will be a plus.
• Good to have knowledge of JavaScript, Spring Boot.
• Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented individual with excellent time management skills.
• Working experience in Agile environment
• Experience in following secure code practices, writing unit testing and implementing DevOps.
• Flexible in working under changing and different work settings.
