Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Build new features on the product by focusing on performance and user experience.
- Cultivate technical backlog with team lead to upgrade platform continuously.
- Collaborate on object-oriented designs and domain modeling while adhering to Morningstar's best practices.
- Build software enhancements, troubleshoot problems, and correct software defects.
- Analyze and remediate production issues and build operational readiness into the system.
- Take ownership of non-functional requirements, quality of the code, and technical debt.
- Maintain quality by establishing and enforcing Morningstar`s development standards.
Requirements
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of prior programming experience.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript as a first-class language.
- Hands-on experience in one of the JavaScript frameworks such as vue.js, angular.js, react.js is mandatory
- Hands-on experience in building REST based apis using C# & .NET Core framework.
- Experience with application scaffolding tools, automation & development tools, and dependency management (e.g. npm, yarn, gulp, lerna, webpack)
- Good knowledge on design patterns, industry best practices and Test-Driven Development.
- Experience in code review and mentoring team in writing clean code.
- Experience with Agile is desired.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to perform in a demanding environment together with a flexible attitude.
- Experience or knowledge on AWS(Amazon web services) is a plus.
