Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Position Title: Communications Manager
Location: Hyderabad
You will be the dedicated Communications Manager for a multi-year transformation program. Here, you will work closely with stream leads and senior leaders to ensure that the right information is broadcasted through the organization across levels. Your expertise and suggestion will also be sought in guiding the project team on the usage of various platforms like town hall meetings, mailers, flyers and intranet. The program will involve a massive transformation of this organization and you will have to guide the leadership team to communicate this to people across different levels in the organization.
Other responsibilities include
- Craft and contribute content for communication plans, as well as monitor progress and deliver within budget and deadlines.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of this organization communication and branding policies/guidelines (including organization house style) and ensure compliance throughout all materials.
- Advise line management on communication policies, and execution (tactics, process and tools).
- Actively participate in internal networks/communities to optimally pool resources, knowledge, and experience
- Manage external suppliers like, designers, printing companies, photographers and copy writers to ensure strong relationship, quality goods and services and value for money.
- Plan, initiate and organize internal events as per the requirement from leadership team or project team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Has 10-15 years of experience in Internal Communications and Branding
- Ability to connect with people at all levels in the organization
- Experience with large-scale organizational communication
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Experience in managing communications for a large organizational transformation
- Is solution orientated, eager to get things done
- Digitally savvy, able to navigate easily in a virtual world
- Technically advanced in applications such as Powerpoint, Excel, Teams etc
- Can de-complex ambiguous situations
- Is a team player and not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Wants to work within a very energizing Project team
- Has excellent stakeholder management skills, can navigate matrix structures and foster collaborative working
