Job Description

Job Description: Field Application Engineer for supporting pre- sales and post- sales activities of ESSrsquos Products Portfolio which includes various Embedded Tools and Solutions.

Educational Qualification: B. E, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.S, M.E, M.Tech (Embedded Systems / Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Computer Science) .
Prerequisites

• Good Knowledge of more than one type of 8/ 16/ 32/ 64 - bit processors architecture.


• Good programming knowledge in C, C and Assembly languages.


• Good Understanding of Embedded Software Development.


• Good Understanding of RTOS and Real- time embedded systems development.


• Good Understanding of Embedded Linux operating system and BSPs.


• Understanding of boot- loaders.


• Understanding of debugging, tracing tools and test and measurement tools.


• Self- motivated and disciplined.


• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to work with multiple groups at different locations.


• Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills.


• Willingness to travel to customer sites to help on solving customer problems.

Desirable

• Experience with KEIL ARM TOOLS, SEGGER, TASKING and other leading embedded development tools.


• Experience on conducting or presenting at embedded workshops and trainings.


• In depth knowledge any or all of these:
  
  
  
  • Intel/ ARM Architectures.
  
  
  • Embedded Linux/ RT- Linux and board support packages (BSP) .
  
  
  • RTOS and Embedded Middleware.
  
  
  • Debugging concepts and methodologies.

• Strategize customer engagements along with sales and deliver assigned goals.


• Pre- sales technical presentations and provide creative, thorough and practical problem resolution specific to customer needs.


• Customer Trainings.


• Co- ordinate technical support activities with sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
