Job Description
THE ROLE:
- As part of SOC (System-On-Chip) Verification team you will be involved in integration, verification of features in complex AMD products. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the project execution from high level definition and test plan review, through design, verification and emulation of those features until deliveries to PEO (product engineering organization) and debug on ATE (automated test equipment)
- Working closely with the IP team for coverage support, with the ATE team on helping debugging and root-causing the test failures
- A successful person in this role would be able to work in a collaborative team environment working with the RTL designers and other Verification Engineers to find creative ways to accelerate the identification of functional defects
- Strong self-driving ability, Should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong problem-solving skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop infrastructure and test content for functional pattern generation used in post silicon device validation and characterization and wafer sorting and coverage.
- Contribute to Design Verification, Test patterns & Test flows Development, Debug & Test
- Pre-Silicon test planning & validation, Engagement with Design. Post Silicon Bring up of test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
- Must have good knowledge on the SoC verification flows. Excellent hands-on debug skills and problem solving attitude.
- Experience in complex ASIC design (multi-million gates) in DFTDFD techniques, scan and ATPG, on-chip test pattern compression and at-speed testing using PLL, memory BIST and repair, logic BIST, power-gating, on-chip debug logic.
- Working knowledge and experience in verilog simulator and waveform debugging tools, proficiency in debugging both RTL and gate level simulations
- Experience of working in complex test-benchmodel in Verilog, System Verilog
- Experience of working on Functional Verification, SoC Verification.
- Good in programming : System Verilog, PERLShell script
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Having experience in any IP Integration into SOC is added plus.
- 4+ years of experience in SOCIP Verification
- BEB.TechMEM.TECH or equivalent ECEEEE
