Job Description
- B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required (Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, and proven experience in development and analysis.)
- 4-6 years of software Research development experience (Research + Analysis + Development).
- Understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts and development knowledge with Java.
- Understanding of software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant data and information.
- Provide timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive communication.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to convey ideas and concepts to another team environment effectively
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong quality orientation and customer focus
Desired:
- Understanding of Unit testing, Test-Driven Development and mocking frameworks
- Familiarity with functional test automation techniques and tools.
- Willing and eager to learn and work with new technologies; must be flexible in approach.
- Ability to contribute to design dialogues as well as initiate questions to achieve clarity when needed.
- Self-motivated, proactive with a team-first attitude
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Research, Analyse, Design, implement, review and test software applications
- Automation: Web scrapping (using Java)
- Creating tooling and systems for better maintenance and monitoring of the integration processing engine
- Providing regular feedback to the core team on what s working, what needs improvement
- Participate in reviews of code, design and requirement specifications to ensure feasibility
- Conduct and participate in peer reviews to ensure product quality
- Provide regular updates on progress and delays encountered during development
- Support and troubleshooting of specific integrations that aren t working for customers
