JOB SUMMARY
- Position Title: Project Manager
- Job location Pune- Hinjewadi/ Bhopal (Currently remote due to COVID-19)
- Job Timing 6:30PM-3:30AM IST (US Shift) / 3:00PM 12:00AM IST
- Experience: 8-12 yrs
JOB ROLE
In this role, you will manage all aspects of project planning and quality implementation as it relates to the production and delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant environment with world-class peers and is expected to display leadership, innovation and flexibility as well as exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Product Owners and Agile scrum teams for the successful management of digital platform technical projects; including generating integrated project plans, tracking, and monitoring progress.
- Work with the Business Development Manager to interact with the clients to understand the Technical/Business need and generate SRS.
- Collaborate with management to define key goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for projects assigned
- Develop communications matrix to identify key stakeholders globally for assigned projects/programs; ensuring all relevant parties are involved.
- Schedule and allocate resources on different projects.
- Organize, attend and participate in daily stand up meetings.
- Determine project management methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.
- Co-ordinate with different development teams on ongoing projects.
- Set up milestones for each project and ensure on time delivery.
- Make sure deliverable are aligned with the goals and objectives requested.
- Develop weekly/monthly project updates to effectively communicate to varied audiences and functions ensuring transparency around project progress
- Bring transparency to challenges or delays; promptly escalate, as required, to management for resolution
- Work with identified contacts and team members in the preparation and execution of delivered digital experiences
- Contribute to larger program management team through idea generation on process improvements and areas to improve outputs
- Track, analyse and communicate project risks and opportunities.
- Communicate with the client on the project status at regular intervals.
- Set up projects in the project tracking system such as Jira, Smartsheet etc.
- Contribute and participate proactively in knowledge sharing sessions. Provide complete KT to support teams before any production release.
- Provide inputs for development of learning plan for the team.
- Shares recommendation towards Performance management and recognition of team members.
- Participate in project and organization initiatives led by the Delivery leadership. Contribute new ideas and innovative approaches at work, including CSI themes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of experience in IT industry.
- Must have experience in managing IT services/ Products in either Java/.NET/ PHP
- Must have exposure to working with US/UK and other international clients.
- Must be flexible with work timings.
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
- Excellent Communication Skills is a must.
- Positive personality with good presentation skills.
- Strong email etiquette.
- Ability to coordinate with internal team, clients and Business development team.
- Proven experience of participating in projects as project coordinator or project management assistant.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Adept at project planning, execution and timely delivery.
- Proven experience with requirements management
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Experience working in Agile environments and with Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with Jira and confluence.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- B.E, B.TECH, BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, M. Tech, M.Sc (CS/IT), M.B.A (IT).
- Scrum Certified, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
