Job Description
Position Description:
- MOCON Europe AS are forming a permanent team at Ametek development center in Bengaluru, India, responsible for development and maintenance of our product line of gas mixers.
- Therefore, we are looking for a skilled team and project manager to lead our new team and projects.
- For a start, the team will consist of two people, long-term perhaps up to five people.
- Technically our product line of gas mixers are mechatronic products that combines elements from mechanics, electronics and softwarefirmware.
- Our high-end products are based on proportional valves, gas mass flow sensors and embedded electronic control system.
Accountabilities:
- Overall management of new product development projects including specifications, design, prototyping, validation through launch of products
Stakeholder Management - Daily management of small local team in India
- Develop ensure adherence to quality processes and compliance to regulatory standards as applicable
- Continuously develop self for competencies in accordance of BU roadmap and keep updated with industrial know-how
- If necessary, help and support by adding any approved local contract Engineers by engaging external vendors through effective vendor management practices
Position Requirements:
- Graduate (4 year minimum) or post-graduate in Mechatronics Electronics Mechanics Engineering
- Experienced project manager; stage-gate development process, mechatronic products
- Practical hands-on mindset and experience, and ability to be a Playing coach
- Minimum of 3 years of People Management experience
- Experienced in interdisciplinary cooperation with outsourcing partners such as electronics and firmware development consultants
- Ability to manage or have managed multi-engineering projects consisting of mechanics, IP rated housings, manmachine interfaces, electronics, softwarefirmware and CE marking approvals
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP Microsoft AX would be preferred
- Experience with CAD Autodesk Inventor Vault would be preferred
