There is an opening for Azure Cloud Architect with an MNC(Permanent) for the location Hyderabad/Bangalore.

Job Description: 

Cloud Lead are responsible for delivering solution designs to projects. These solutions need to be fit for purpose within the portfolio, have technical integrity, have the right TCO (total cost of ownership) through its life cycle and have a good fit with the IT technology direction of the client. The resultant high level design has a measurable impact on the effectiveness and profitability of the client.

Responsibilities include:
1. Provide solution overview and development, consultancy and assurance to projects, making sure applications are well designed and conform to the client standards and reference/segment architectures. The lead is accountable to the Project Manager and Competency Center for the architecture of a solution being developed and implemented until the successful deployment of the solution. This includes:
a. Work with Cloud solution architect to understand the design and translate to project needs for implementation.
b. Own all aspects of technical delivery of the project
c. Being the point of call for all design aspects of an IT project.
d. Being able to address and integrate the business process, data, application, technical and information security aspects of an IT Solution.
e. Coaching dev teams - designers, business analysts, developers, testers in projects during their design work.
f. Reviewing and accepting the detailed design of an IT solution.
2. Being single focal point and responsible as a design authority to implement and ensure to a check point from quality assurance stand point on the architect front
3. Develop detailed design for the project
4. Follow IT Technology developments in the market and leverage this knowledge in architecting solutions for the client. Ensure solutions are future-proof.
5. Stay in touch with development of standards and standard services in IT at client location to ensure the latest service developments are taken into account.
6. Pro-actively contribute to the development of the architecture community and be an ambassador for Architecture. Interact with stakeholders on architecture issues and strategic improvements where such expertise is required.

This is an lead role expected to take end-to-end accountability for detailed design, dealing with complex solutions and interacting with third parties, both business partners (e.g. acquirers and 3rd party fuels networks) and IT suppliers.
This lead role will mainly focus on the Azure/Cloud domain.
The person in the role is expected to take end-to-end accountability for detailed solution design, directly interact with business process owners, competency center SMEs and project managers, deal with a wide range of technology or portfolio, and higher complexity and higher risk projects.

Special Challenges:

Skills & Requirements:
A university degree, preferably in Information Technology, Information Management, Software Engineering, or related field.
Having technical experience in ASP .Net, SQL Server, DevOps, Security, Azure PAAS and IAAS, Azure SQL, Power BI, Microservices, Hands on configuration of Azure services
Experience of designing, building, integrating and supporting cloud solutions
Certified AWS/Azure/GCP cloud architect
Hands on cloud experience for at least 2 to 4 years.
Experience is building distributed systems on Cloud.
Experience with building hybrid landscapes where SaaS solutions need to integrate with on-premise applications.
At least 10 years experience in technical roles with similar accountabilities to those listed above.
Experience with design and implementation of secure end to end solutions.
TOGAF (or similar framework) certification and knowledge of UNICOM System Architect preferred.
Willingness to stay up to date with key developments in IT.
Delivery focused with pro-active/hands-on attitude.
Organized and methodical. Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk.
Rigorous, thorough and with an eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal/communication skills, both oral and written. Good storytelling capabilities.
Experience in a large industry IT organization is a plus.
Awareness of project delivery methodology.
Experienced virtual team worker with ability to work across time, geographical, and cultural boundaries.
Leadership skills and ability to drive change using influence and networking.
Ability to drive for standardisation and interoperability with internal and external parties.
Good communications skills for technical matters with both business and technical stakeholders, including 3rd party specialists.
Knowledge of Retail business processes is a plus
