Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in open source R platform
- Knowledge of statistics is must.
- Understanding of R Data elements and ability to handle them & hands on experience in prediction & clustering based algorithm, for eg: build statistical models using [& not limited to] random forest, boosted decision tree, logical regression, neural network etc in R
- Should know how to extrapolate and interpolate missing data; use PCA methodologies;
- Choose the right model based on the facts and should be able to explain why this model and not the other relevant model
- Clean and prune data, thereby removing irrelevant and unimportant information
- Developer would be required to gather, join, clean and transform data from multiple sources to prepare data for modeling
- Infer important insights from massive quantities of data.
- Examine data from multiple angles to find out hidden weakness, trends, and opportunities for the companies in the future
- Should be working with existing R/Data science team; helping in brain storming & clarifying doubts
- Should have technical expertise on data models and database design.
We are looking for Data Scientist who have less than 1 year relevant work experience / internship experience.
Certification / diploma courses in Data Science
