Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Leading the engineering team including mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Plant Maintenance Including rubber machinery, Electricals, Utilities and SPMs used in product specific processes.
• Tolead Automation projects, Design and develop SPMs jointly with vendors and also develop vendors for such automation.
• To design plant layouts for expansion based on lean factory design based on inputs from plant personnel and consultants.
• Collaborate with R&D(rubber), QA and operations team for continual improvement on machine, tools and process design.
• Implementation of industry 4.0
• To keep the company abreast with the latest technology for machines and processes to automate for quality and costs.
• Maintaining and recruiting for the engineering team as required for the growth of the company.
• Will be reporting to the plant head for routine work and to the director for automation and development.
• Liasioning skills(Limited) with Govt. and statutory agencies for engineering related matters.
• To develop and implement systems for plant and machinery maintenance in line with the latest trends in the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be a Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineer with a minimum work experience of 10 years in a similar position in manufacturing, preferably in Automotive /Tyre/ rubber/ engineering industry. Knowledge of Rubber machinery will be a big advantage.
• Must be highly organized with strong computer proficiency including related software skills in Autocad, Autodesk, Matlab, Solid works etc.
• Must have good knowledge of Mechanics, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, instrumentation, sensors etc.
• Should have great analytical ability along with excellent communication skills.
• Leadership skills to lead a team with Good Multi-tasking skills
