Desired Candidate Profile

Software Developer duties and responsibilities -

A standard Software Developer job description should include, but not be limited to:

Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
Testing and evaluating new programs
Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
Writing and implementing efficient code
Determining operational practicality
Developing quality assurance procedures
Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
Training users
Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Software Tester duties and responsibilities-

analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
collaborate closely with other team members and departments
execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencias
Provide timely solutions
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product life cycle
Provide support and documentation

Education:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, Diploma - Computers
