Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer. This individual will be involved in manual and automation testing of web based application, mobile application and Web Services (API).
Role Description

- Individual will be responsible to developing manual test scripts.
- Responsible to executing automated and manual test cases.
- Responsible to tracking and logging defects during execution.
- Generating reports such as defect analysis report, project status report, etc.
- Actively participate in requirement analysis and test design.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.
- Document lessons learned, help maintain knowledge database
- Knowledge on Automation using UFT/Selenium-java
- Responsible to performance testing
- Good Knowledge in SVN, JIRA, web service testing & Confluence.
- Good in Apache Jmeter to design and execute performance tests.
- Good Knowledge in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Have good understanding of Software testing lifecycle.
- Should have Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies.
- Sound interpersonal and team working skills
- Execute Load Tests as per plan and provide detailed feedback after Analysis
- Hands on automation knowledge
- Demonstrate relationship building and teamwork skills within all levels of the organization in a collaborative effort
- Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings
- Should be able to understand customer / end users requirements and should own the issue till closure
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers, Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: MCA - Computers
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
