Job Function
- Application Development: The application developer will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and supporting web applications of existing clients and work on new projects assigned to the developer. These include requirement specifications, analysis, designing, coding and testing the website or web application before final client delivery.
- Maintenance: Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of existing web applications associated with intranet, extranet and websites.
- Application & Project Management: The candidate must be able to adhere to defined company policies for development and support programming methodologies and standards. The candidate should be comfortable working in a team or even single handedly depending on project requirements.
- The software developer is responsible for identifying and applying technologies using current best practices to deliver high quality innovative products that meet requirements to an agreed schedule. The development activities include the full life cycle from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Communicating with clients and company representatives in other time zones also requires flexibility regarding working hours. The Software developer works with the team manager and other Project Leads to co-ordinate and balance resources and priorities to achieve local team deliverables.
