As we continue on our exciting and pioneering journey at the forefront of life sciences and data science, we are looking for experienced proactive, passionate, self-motivated and creative thinking Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure our platform is delivered with enterprise quality and standards.

Our platform is developed using React JS for front-end and Python as core language to develop our business and data layer API. We use relational as well graph databases for our data persistence. We have our offerings on Azure and Amazon Web Services cloud. We build our API using REST or GraphQL and with Microservices as core architecture pattern.

Reporting to our Director of Engineering, this role will require you taking responsibility for coordinating and collaborating with the Product Management team and Engineering team in quality management and assurance of the platform or any deliverable.

You will interpret functional requirements and design documents to plan, develop, write and execute application functional and automation test plans. You will be responsible to develop and maintain automation test frameworks and test scripts for functional and regression test execution.
You will manage multiple test projects, workloads and deadlines within an Agile Scrum fast-paced environment. You will implement a continuous improvement process for quality assurance and quality life cycle process.

You will collaborate with others on projects and contribute to regular meetings such as stand ups, making use of your excellent team working skills and Agile abilities.

Requirements

6 - 10 years of hands on experience manual and automated usability and functional testing
Graduation level education in Engineering or MCA or M.Sc. (Computers)
Minimum of 2 years (and above) experience in Automation tools like Selenium or UFT
Experience in testing the Web services using Postman or Curl or Soap UI
Understanding of basic linux commands or shell scripting
Understanding on web technologies like in HTML, CSS and Javascript, XML, JSON
Experience of working in an Agile environment, particularly Scrum and JIRA
Experienced user of the GIT/GITHUB repository
Ability to articulate and explain details around web development basics like browser security issues, iframe to iframe communication, https requests & CORS

Desirable skills and experience

• An understanding of Python or other scripting languages would be useful
• An understanding of Relational or Graph databases would be useful
• Understanding of microservices is desirable
• Awareness of Windows as well as Mac OS operating systems
• Experience in leading small to big teams is a plus
• Any quality Certification like ISTQB is desirable not mandatory
