Job Description

Job Role :- Telecom Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Basic Telecommunications Knowledge, Basic Telecommunications Understanding, Functional, Independence, Attention to Detail, Verbal Communication, Documentation Skills,
• Knowledge on Cable Types and identify.
• Identifying the type of Phones (analog, digital,IP phones etc)
• Knowledge of VC room testing.
• Identifying various telecommunication equipment and their functionality..
• Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering inquiries.
• Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Improves department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Minimum qualifications

• Graduate in any stream
• Must have with ITIL and ITSM processes.
• Familiarity with Telecom equipments
• Ability to multi-task, manage time and follow through with assignments.
• Must have at least 2+year experience in supporting in the same stream

Preferred Skills

• Basic Telecommunications Knowledge, Understanding, Functional, Independence
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics. Niche know how on Telecom, Windows, Network, Active Directory, Virtualization
• Customer facing experience
