Role

Software Developer Linux:

Responsibilities:

Candidates primary responsibility is developing Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) Drivers for AMD RAID products.
Candidate will have backup responsibilities of developing Windows Drivers for AMD RAID products.
Sustain the design, development, integration, testing and deployment of AMD RAID solution.
Includes cross cultural communication with vendor and customer.

Required Skills:

Bachelors/masters in engineering.
At least 3-5 years of job experience, with at least 2 years of Linux driver development.
Linux kernel development
Source control software knowledge (CVS/GIT)
Should have experience on full design / development life cycle. Take a project from initial requirements to a successful release, then maintain the release.
Ability to work with minimal supervision on more than one task in parallel
Ability to mentor technically
Good time management skills
Must be self-starter
Good communication skills
Working with geographical teams an added advantage

Desirable Skills:

Working knowledge of Storage drivers
Python, Shell Scripting
C Programming Skills
Good knowledge of PC hardwares and Responsibilities
