Full Stack Python Developer - Shift timing 2 pm to 11 pm

Our client  is a proprietary trading firm that develops and employs electronic trading strategies that utilise a variety of quantitative techniques to trade and provides liquidity in numerous markets. The Firm currently trades at futures and digital assets exchanges both in the US and internationally. The mission is to trade profitably using diversified strategies and state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities:
The software developer will work closely with the Operations & Accounting teams to identify manual processes and build applications to automate manual functions
The software developer will also work with onshore technology teams on software development.

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM subjects
Strong knowledge of Full stack Python development and good understanding of Pytest, Pyunit, Selenium and Beautiful Soup 

• Basic knowledge of Jenkins & AWS  
  2 plus years industry experience developing applications, preferably with a financial institution
  Experience in / strong knowledge of business analysis / requirements gathering / writing business rules which can be coded
  Problem solver with excellent communication skills
  Driven and detail-oriented individual with aptitude to thrive within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Finance & Accounting job opening shift time - 3:30 pm to 12:30 am

The client he will work with is a proprietary trading firm that develops and employs electronic trading strategies that utilize a variety of quantitative techniques to trade and provides liquidity in numerous markets. The client currently trades at futures and digital assets exchanges both in the US and internationally.

Responsibilities:
Complete daily reconciliation of trading and cash activity and distribute daily reports to management
and firm owners
Work with CFO and Technology Team to design and build streamlined daily reconciliation and
reporting process for newly implemented revenue line
Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing trade data and preparing
reports and analysis
Work with clearing firms and exchanges to ensure proper funding, timely and accurate reporting of
trading activity, trading related costs such as rebates, exchange fees, and commissions
Work with banks ensuring that daily cash activity is properly reflected and funding requirements are met
Reconcile and record activity in general ledger accounts
Assist in financial close process and preparation of supporting information to financial statements
Prepare special reports and financial analysis to management
Requirements:
Accounting or Finance Bachelor degree
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA, micros, pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
Strong knowledge of SQL database software, ability to code in SQL
Strong Communication skills 
Experience with general ledger software, will need to post journal entries, post accruals, account for depreciation etc.
1-2 years industry experience, preferably with a proprietary trading or clearing firm
General knowledge of equities and futures markets or other financial markets
Problem solver with excellent communication skills
Driven and detail-oriented individual with aptitude to thrive within a dynamic and fast-paced
environment
