DK Biopharma Private Limited is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work on projects focused on biotech, pharmaceutical and specialized feed facilities. This individual must have a background in biotech plant maintenance and will be responsible for Planning, Execution & controlling Preventive, corrective & Breakdown maintenance of process & utility.
Knowledge on biotechnology equipment and safety procedures and a thorough understanding of engineering practice within FDA regulated industries. We are looking for a resourceful and goal- oriented individual who desires challenging work in a dynamic environment. Major responsibilities include - Supervision of process and utility maintenance activities in the project commissioning and production of various pharmaceutical forms (Active pharmaceutical ingredients and bio- pharmaceutical). Trouble shooting of issues faced. Periodic and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
Planning, Execution & controlling Preventive, corrective & Breakdown maintenance of process & utility.
Completion of Monthly Engineering Reports & maintaining equipment history cards.
Maintenance of all biotech process equipment's.(Fermentor, Centrifuge, Homogenizer, Lyophilizer etc.)
Facing audit and various party audit.
Maintaining all documents related to Maintenance areas as per cGMP. Preparation of Daily Utility consumption report.
project management within cost and time constrained environments
understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
5-9 years of maintenance engineering experience; minimum of 2 years experience with design of FDA regulated facilities as shift in charge is preferred.
Experience with process equipments in Biotech facility, GMP projects, plant utilities, clean utilities, clean rooms and HVAC equipment is desirable.
Strong computer literacy, good written & verbal communication skills.
Moderate to good proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
The job requires a person to work in special working conditions. Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging clients, and so forth.
