Job Description
- Ms Sql Developer will be responsible for maintaining and updating computer programs and database and write new codes as requires and requested.
- Daily task includes Database Management, Troubleshooting and developing new systems to improve data analysis.
- The candidate will be a key part of product development team as well as communicate with different teams and respond to quires or request.
- Design stable, reliable and effective database
- Modify database as per request and perform test.
- Provide data management support to the user
- Gather user requirement and identify new features
- ensure all database meets company and performance requirement
- Strong SQL skills using T- SQL and proficient in writing complex database stored procedures, triggers,
- tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
- Experience in developing database projects using SQL Server 2005/2008
- Experience in SQLXML programming.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and SQL Server Reporting
- Services (SSRS) for report generation
- Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices
- Experience on SQL Server Enterprise Database
- Experience and knowledge in Query Tuning, Database Tuning, Performance tuning and different indexing
- methods
- Knowledge of XML Extraction and Transformation
- Problem solving, analytical and communication abilities.
- Strong working experience on database development using SQL Server
- Strong data modeling experience & proficient in designing medium- to- complex databases
- Understanding of any of the industry ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, Datastage (nice to have)
- Understanding of Big Data architecture & associated components (nice to have)
- Exposure to Big Data development and Power BI (nice to have)
- Keen on learning new emerging technologies, especially in the Big Data space
- Development experience on . Net, VB.net
- Knowledge of BI tools.
