Roles and Responsibilities

Requirement:

Design, development, testing, and post-implementation support of the new application component satisfying functional and non-functional requirements
Ability to utilize an existing knowledge of Python 3 and common libraries to produce software to a high standard with a low maintenance cost through good design, clear documentation, simple coding style, and test automation
Experience coding in a professional environment, taking requirements from concept to production use
Comfortable with relational database concepts including schema design and basic query optimization
Comfortable on the Linux command line including shell scripting
Knowledge of the pros and cons of different integration patterns, architectural patterns, API approaches
Willingness to utilize existing technologies rather than rebuilding near-equivalent functionality
The ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have:
Practical knowledge of build/test tooling sufficient to extract the principles and apply to unfamiliar toolkits
Corporate Lending business domain knowledge/experience
Past experience developing Java based solutions in banking environment
Belief in the core values of agile and DevOps
