Salesforce : Senior Software ConsultantExperience Level: 8 to 12 years
Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for a Senior Software Consultant to design and maintain world-class Salesforce
applications for our evolving CRM requirements. A Senior Software Consultant would be
responsible for handling a team of Salesforce developers and managing development of
customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This will involve meeting with business
teams, analysing project objectives, managing new Salesforce applications development, and
take complete ownership of the platform.
To ensure success as a Senior Software Consultant, you should have extensive experience
working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve
complex software problems and manage a team of talented Salesforce developers.
Essential Responsibilities:
Own major development projects and enhancements to automate business processes on
the Salesforce.com (SFDC) application
Carry out complex SFDC APEX, Visual Force development, and maintain custom interfaces
built onforce.com platform
Play a critical role for systems designs and custom development in SFDC
Maintain the custom code base with best practices on SFDC platform
Work closely with the business teams and developers to work on the custom
development and other deliverables
Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members so
they do the best work of their lives. Be accountable for not only the work the team does
but the people on the team.
Lead virtual technical teams to manage development, configuration, maintenance,
administration, and integration with other systems.
Perform configuration enhancements on application as per business requirements
Support and enhance existing applications
Experience Storytelling, Storyboarding, Copywriting
Pitching ideas, presenting to internal/external stakeholders
Demonstrate strong work ethic and advanced organizational skills
Guide other resources with SFDC development best practices
Ability to attract, hire and retain high-performing professionals
A passion for solving problem
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or
Engineering experience in development & testing of business applications and technologies
Atleast 8-12 years of hands on development experience in Salesforce.com, Visualforce, Apex
both on Configuration, Customization
Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST/SOAP-based web
services
Proven technical, analytical and problem resolution skills - Experience with Agile
methodology
Proves ability to lead and manage a team of 4-6 talented developers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on
a product that's been released for public consumption
Good understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in
the areas of virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing,
networking, massive data storage, and security.
Salesforce Certifications is a plus
Required Candidate profile
