Job Description
6 years' experience in the software development/quality assurance field, including experience with software product testing and validation in an Agile development environment, and use of defect tracking and test case management systems.Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities;
Work with the project team to estimate User Stories and define the scope for testing. Create the corresponding test strategies, test plans, and test cases as needed.
Work effectively and collaboratively within the scrum team, across scrum teams, and with other members on the product team.
Work within established standards in the QA organization
Create and maintain test environments and test data.
Detect defects as early in the life cycle as possible. Report, track, and manage any discovered defects to resolution.
Troubleshoot problems and find the root cause of issues and defects.
Prepare progress reports and provide other metrics to management as needed.
Actively contribute to development and implementation of Quality Assurance best practices and process improvements throughout the department.
Required Competencies;
Write and understand SQL queries in order to perform backend (database) testing.
Experience in an agile development environment.
Basic understanding and experience in writing and executing test automation scripts.
Experience in regression resting, functional testing, backend/database Testing, black box testing, etc.
Proficiency Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelors or Master s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Math/Statistics/Data Science/Business Administration or related discipline,
