Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and own UI and API Test Automation work.
- Design and maintain Test Automation frameworks.
- Perform manual testing to understand features and architecture of our products.
- Work with QA team members and with development teams to ensure proper testing coverage of the module / component.
- Make sure the rest of the teams have the tools/framework to create automated tests in a structured way.
- Participate in the QA process improvement and innovation.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of test automation experience for Web applications/Mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber(Java/Python as programming language).
- 3+ years of professional experience with: REST-Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman and other HTTP Request Client Libraries.
- Experience with build and configuration tools, such as Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with Source code management tools, such as GitHub, GitLab.
- Should be proficient in one programming language at least.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end software testing life cycle, methodologies and tools/best-practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
- Good communications skills.
- Self-starter, Independent thinker but a good Team player.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in testing Microservices.
- Knowledge of testing within AWS Environment/ Tools/ Integration.
- Prior experience of any performance testing tools is a plus.
