Job Description
Staff ESXi Driver Developer
Client-Semicon MNC with around Revenue of 3 Billion USD
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-16 years of related professional experience or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
- Thorough understanding of Modern OS kernel/hypervisor internals
- Proficient in low level C programming
- In-depth understanding of Ethernet protocols, TCP/IP and networking stack
- Strong background in developing drivers for I/O adapters with advanced Ethernet and/or RDMA features in mainstream OS/hypervisor environments.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Previous experience with ESXi driver development frameworks and APIs is plus
- Understanding of PCI Express and IO Virtualization techniques
- Knowledge of technologies like Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Understanding and experience with networking storage technologies such as iSCSI, NVMe/RDMA, NVMe/TCP
