Job Title

Associate Architect/ Technical Architect

Reports to- Head of Development - IT Applications Services

Department- IT Applications

Location- Powai, Mumbai

Role Description

Role Requirements

Primary responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for design and implementation of innovative, cost-effective solutions to the business
Produce architectural recommendations and technical specifications around large system development and COTS integration requirements
Delivery of complex projects in the development space through high efficiency and sharing of best practices
Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign efforts working closely with different stakeholders
Act as technical expert for the entire team
Establish development standards and drive adherence to best practices as part of knowledge management
Manage stakeholder relationships across global primarily US
Recruitment and training activities through internal or external resources for all the team members based on competency frameworks & project pipeline
Develop technical proposals to influence stakeholder decisions and obtain broader buy-ins
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
Strong familiarity in various project methodology, especially Agile (Scrum)

Technical Skills

Strong in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
Strong knowledge and experience across .NET technologies, i C# .NET, ECMAScript 6 (JavaScript 6) and jQuery, Rest API, Oracle .
Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
Very good communication skills, ability to develop technology roadmap and build architectural vision for complex products
Very good Global Wealth domain knowledge
Development methodologies and processes, including tools and usage of tools to gain edge in productivity and solutions

Analytical bent of mind
Be able to influence multiple stakeholders and management with superior grasp on entire SDLC cycle and be able to convert that into business imperatives
Establish architecture guidance, and drive implementation through strong design and development principles, quality management
Expert in guiding development teams through coaching and mentorship

Preferred candidate profile

Prior Experience

10-15 years of overall experience from leading IT services/ Captive units with strong architectural design and development background
Should have worked with stakeholders and businesses in US
Should have created technical proposals for large financial services engagements
