The Employer
Our client is an AI-enabled SaaS product that enables quick and accurate diagnosis of a medical illness in order for patients to be prescribed effective drug combinations, improving mortality rate.
You will be responsible for :
- Contributing to the project to extend the functionality of the machine learning algorithm
- Optimising performance of ML systems
- Designing and delivering high impact solution
- Using ML tools in a production system
- Designing and learning state-of-the-art ML approaches
- Building core ML infrastructure which includes distributed systems, abstraction, development tools, model hosting, serving, inference pipeline, etc.
- Automation of pipeline that can be incorporated into a software package
The Profile
- You have a Masters or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field.
- You have at least 3 years of industry experience building predictive models, not including graduate research.
- You are proficient in Python, Tensorflow as well as Machine Learning and pattern recognition
- You are experienced in MySQL, large scale distribution system and cloud computing AWS as well as Natural Language processing.
- You have demonstrated experience in building, validating, and leveraging machine learning models
- You possess demonstrated skills with data mining, data munging, coping with missing/corrupt/unstructured data
- You possess leadership skills and can lead a team of 5-6 people in product development
- You have strong programming skills
- Prior experience using big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing (AWS preferred) will be an added advantage
- Having basic knowledge of genomic data and biology will be a plus.
