Job Description
In this role, the candidate will be initially required to prepare collaterals and samples showcasing Equinox Researchs capabilities in this space. Eventually, the candidate will be required to work on different client mandates such as preparing company and/or industry reports, thematic research, sovereign and macro reports, preparing ESG integrated valuation models and/or making financial projections. Prior experience in analyzing sectors and equities from an equity or credit perspective is a must.
Given the independent and end-to-end nature of research involved in the role, the ideal candidate should have excellent research skills, strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly. In this role, you should be able to build detailed financial models, perform quick valuation factoring in ESG framework, relative, precedent transaction, market sizing, etc. parameters.
Key attributes needed
Following are the attributes we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
1.Passionate about Equity or Credit Research with a strong desire and ability to identify investment opportunities.
2.Prior experience in tracking ECM or DCM markets and analyzing securities.
3.Total experience of 2-5 years in Equity or Credit Research involving building financial models and writing investment reports.
4.Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
5.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6.Ability to think independently.
7.Self-motivated and goal driven.
8.Post graduate degree in Business, Commerce or Economics.
