We are looking for "Mysql DBA " who are ready to take their career to the next level.
Immediate joiners or 15 days Notice Period.
Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
Must Have - Mysql development experience required
- Experience of MySQL mandatory
- Writing code and performance tuning of complex stored procedures, functions and maintenance scripts.
- Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
- Should have experience in health monitoring and troubleshooting of database servers
- Exposure to logical schema design and physical storage design problems
- Experience with database scaling including logical and physical partitioning, database shading and high availability.
- Hands-on experience on scripting language (Unix/Python/Shell)
In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) - Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL statements with database management
- Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
- Experience with replication configuration in MySQL
- Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL
- Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler
- Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases
