- Develop code and unit test as per the project requirements
- Ensure that the development is meeting the project requirements
- Participate in design, creation of application services
- Build and maintain systems with ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server (2008+) / WCF Services
- Develop components, and customizations for applications from controller-level to UI
- Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product management, interaction designers, and back-end engineers to develop reusable and scalable components/libraries.
- Research, implement, and communicate clear standards and best practices for front-end engineering.
- Research new technologies, develop prototypes, provide training classes / materials, and lead their integration into existing applications.
- Graduate or Post graduate from a reputed institute
- Five (+) years experience as a developer
- Five (+) years experience with ASP.NET/C#.NET, with knowledge of both Web Forms (aspx) and MVC architectures (MVC preferred)
- Five (+) years working with SQL Server (2008/2012 preferred)
- Good experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Previous integration experience with JSON(P) and restful based services
- Experience with building accessible (WCAG) sites with heavy interactivity
- Good knowledge on HTML5 and JavaScript coding skills with the ability to solve complex issues
- Good command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser/device compatibility (including supporting browsers as old as IE8).
- Understanding of security protocols; Token based authentication, Web Forms Security and user authentication
- Working knowledge of resolving security vulnerabilities (SQL Injections, XSS and XLRF)
- Working knowledge of resolving application performance issues in data and middle tier
- Automated unit testing experience; Background of TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components.
- Must be a self-starter with a passion to stay current with the newest online technologies
- Proven abilities to grow professionally with a small, focused, development team in a fast-moving startup
- Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
- Experience working with US teams
- Excellent communication skills, Proactive, Assertive, Great attitude
- Should have excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Effective interpersonal communication across various levels of the organization, external customers and vendors
